High Lift Forklift Operator

$16.00–$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

1st Shift - 5:00 am - 1:30 pm

Saturday - 5:00 am - 11:00 am

2nd Shift - 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Saturday - 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking skilled High Lift Forklift Operators for 1st and 2nd shift openings with our automotive parts client. This is a temporary-to-hire position.

Operators must be able to safely and efficiently operate high-lift equipment and digitally enter stock and material data using a handheld device. If you have strong equipment experience and can work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Important: You must have experience and be certified within the past year on stand-up, high-reach, and cherry picker equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate stand-up and high-lift forklifts to load and unload materials.

• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all safety features are functioning properly.

• Secure, store, and stage materials to prevent damage or loss.

• Use pallet jacks to move and align pallets.

• Load and unload materials to and from storage areas, docks, and trucks.

• Enter accurate inventory and material movement data using a handheld device.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Work cooperatively with team members to meet productivity goals.

• Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Forklift certification (required by client), obtained within the past year on stand-up, high-reach, and cherry picker equipment.

• 1 year of forklift experience.

• 1 year of warehouse experience.

• Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and material-handling best practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily productivity targets.

• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating loads.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Order picking and general warehouse experience.
